Privacy Policy
Last updated 27 August 2026
This policy explains what StickyAim (“StickyAim”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use the StickyAim website, account and software (the “Service”), why we collect it, and the choices you have. We collect only what the Service needs to run, to bill you, and to protect the Service and its users.
1. What we collect
- Account information — your email address, the username you choose, and your password (kept only as a salted hash, never in the clear), plus messages you send us.
- Payment information — handled by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number; we keep a record of what you bought, when, the amount, and Stripe’s reference for it.
- Device and hardware information — an identifier derived from the device you run the software on, and related technical characteristics. We use this to license the software to your device, to enforce one active device per account, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
- Usage and technical data — log and diagnostic data such as your IP address, the app version, timestamps, feature use and crash reports.
- Security data — information we need to keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms.
2. How we use it
- to provide, maintain and improve the Service, and to activate your access;
- to license the software and enforce one-account, one-device and plan limits;
- to take payment, manage subscriptions, and process refunds and disputes;
- to protect the Service and its users, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms;
- to answer your support requests and send service messages about your account;
- to meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3. When we share it
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who run parts of the Service for us — payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, and hosting and content delivery — and only for those purposes;
- Authorities or others where we reasonably believe the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of StickyAim, our users or the public;
- A successor if the business or its assets are transferred, in which case this policy continues to apply.
4. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for as long afterwards as we need it for the purposes above — to keep records of purchases, to resolve disputes, to enforce our Terms, and to meet legal obligations. When it is no longer needed we delete or anonymise it.
5. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including hashing passwords and encrypting data in transit. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict some uses. You can update your profile in your account and ask us to close your account. To make a request, email support@stickyaim.com from your account address; we may need to verify your identity first. Some information must be kept even after an account closes where the law or a legitimate purpose (such as a payment record or an abuse block) requires it.
7. International transfers
We and our service providers may process your information in countries other than yours. Where we do, we take steps to see that it stays protected in line with this policy.
8. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we change the “last updated” date above; material changes take effect when posted.
